MIXING & MASTERING FAQ
A Little Word For You
I tried to think of everything you could ask yourself and comp it in these following questions. That being said, if you have any other questions or you’re in doubt about a certain subject, please ask. I’m totally transparent about how I operate and everything is built to help you in the easiest way possible.
PROCESS
DO YOU WORK REMOTELY?
Yes!
You don’t not have to live in London, or wherever I might be for us to work together.
I work remotely with music artist and producers all over the world from my studio in London, UK.
My working process always involves you and all the technology is built to work perfectly with remote clients.
My revision process uses a HD live-stream from my session so we can do changes real-time together.
HOW DOES PAYMENT AND FILE DELIVERY WORKS?
To book a project, you first need to schedule a call so we can get to know each other and how I can help you.
After we’ve discussed the project, I’ll send you a 50% deposit invoice that you can pay online via credit card or debit card.
After payment is made, I will walk you through how to export and upload your files.
Once your project is complete, I’ll email the remaining balance invoice, and then a link to the final WAV files and other files you might need.
HOW TO PREPARE FILES FOR MIXING/MASTERING?
When you book a project with me, I’ll walk you through personally on how to prepare, export and send me the files for the mixing and/or mastering stage.
It usually depends on what you use, hence why it’s really personalised.
MULTIPLE PROJECTS / BULK DISCOUNTS
DO YOU OFFER BULK DISCOUNTS?
Yes!
I do offer bulk discounts in these following occasions:
[MIXING] 3 or more tracks
[MASTERING] 4 or more tracks
Contact me for more if you’re looking to get several tracks mixed/mastered at the same time, or if they’re all part of an EP/album.
REVISIONS
WHAT'S YOUR REVISION POLICY?
I have always found it a bit ridiculous to offer a limited amount of free revisions.
I built my whole process around creating a great relationship and understanding with the artist I’m working with, which helps delivering the best service.
Although 95% of the time we sign off a mix or a master on the 1st of 2nd version, I do offer a 30 days window of free revisions – because as human beings, we need time to take a break from listening to something, and come back to it, with more perspective.
This means I put all my energy into making you happy with your music, helping you share your emotions and tell your story in the best way possible, keeping your authentic vision.
HOW IS THE REVISION PROCESS?
My working process always involves you and all the technology is built to work perfectly with remote clients.
My revision process uses a HD live-stream from my session so we can do changes real-time together.
I use Audiomovers ListenTo for this purpose.
Also, I post every version of your song’s mix/master on a platform called Mixup.audio, where you can compare, keep track of things, and post time-based comments if you need.
If you have any additional questions or would like to ask me anything, you can fill this form below, and I’ll get back to you within a day tops.
Alternatively, you can book a call, so that we can speak in real-time, which is always super nice!
